NKTI Launches Bot MD Hospital, an AI Clinical Assistant to Improve Clinical Efficiency and Productivity

The National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) announced its partnership with Bot MD to launch the first of its kind AI clinical assistant in the Philippines. The Bot MD Hospital platform functions as a "Hospital Super App" which enables NKTI doctors and nurses to instantly search for all the hospital and clinical information they need within a single chat interface.

Bot MD has been integrated with NKTI specific hospital information including doctor duty rosters, the hospital directory, drug formulary, lab test catalogue and hospital protocols. Doctors and nurses can simply query the AI to obtain direct answers to the information they need.

In addition the platform has also be integrated with third party professional medical resources such as the WHO ICD-10 codes, PhilHealth Case Rates, the Philippine National Formulary as well as clinical tools and information from UpToDate, MDCalc and QxMD. This will allow doctors and nurses in NKTI to quickly search the information they need to assist with their diagnosis, financial counseling and prescription workflows.

Doctors and nurses at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) of the Philippines can now instantly search hospital information through the NKTI-Bot MD Hospital Super App.

Call Rosters

NKTI doctors and nurses can immediately find out who is on duty and call them from the Bot MD Hospital App.

Drug Formulary

The Bot MD Hospital app enables NKTI's doctors and nurses to find out the availability of drugs that they are planning to prescribe to the kidney patients.

Bot MD Hospital Einstein Admin Dashboard

The Bot MD Hospital platform also includes Einstein, a web-based admin dashboard that allows NKTI hospital and department administrators to easily manage their users, sync their hospital drug and lab formulary, guidelines and protocols as well as send hospital-wide broadcasts. Hospital management can also easily track user analytics to determine the types of hospital information to add.

NKTI is proud to be the first hospital in the Philippines to launch the A.I. powered Bot MD Hospital application.
