  • The Cancer Registry was created in partnership with Bot MD and SOSP to help Filipino surgeons across 9 training institutions scale data collection across various regions of the Philippines into a single national database.
  • Healthcare professionals, policymakers, researchers, and the public will have access to accurate and up-to-date information essential for advancing cancer care and improving patient outcomes.

Bot MD and Surgical Oncology Society of the Philippines (SOSP) are proud to announce their partnership to create the first National Cancer Registry for surgical oncology patients.

The Bot MD Care platform will be used to help surgeons across 9 training institutions easily scale the data collection for their surgical cancer patients and to streamline analytics and tracking of 30-day mortality and long-term surveillance.

As cancer continues to be one of the leading causes of death in the Philippines, there is a pressing need for standardized data collection to be done at scale across various regions of the Philippines.

The Cancer Registry platform will contain a wide range of clinical information including morbidity and mortality data that will be essential for advancing cancer care and improving patient outcomes for many Filipino patients.

Healthcare professionals, policymakers, researchers, and the public will be able to access a comprehensive overview of cancer incidence, prevalence, and treatment outcomes across various regions of the Philippines. This registry was made with the collaborative efforts of healthcare institutions, oncologists, surgeons, and data scientists of the SOSP and Bot MD.

Access to the Cancer Registry data will be available through the Surgical Oncology Society of the Philippines website at: https://sosp-org.com/. For inquiries or further information, please contact: surgoncophil@gmail.com.
