Bot MD Care doesn't charge a fixed fee per patient. We only charge a monthly fee for clinical users to use the Dashboard and variable messaging fees when incurred.

Messaging Platforms

Choose the messaging platform your patients prefer. Fees are charged only when you push messages to your patients, or if they initiate conversations with Bot MD.

Messaging Fees

Based on chat platform and country of location.

WhatsApp Business

Meta charges for Business-initiated conversations and User initiated conversations. Rates depend on country and Business Solution Provider (BSP).

Business initiated conversations

Business-initiated conversations are measured in 24-hour increments and start from when you send the first message to your patient.

Examples in Bot MD Care include reminders and targeted education or care messages pushed to the patient.

User initiated conversations

User-initiated conversations are measured in 24-hour increments and start from when the business replies to the user.

Examples of user initiated conversations in Bot MD Care happen when the patient asks the Bot a frequently asked question.

Viber Business

Viber charges fees for promotional messages, transactional messages, and user initiated chat sessions.

Promotional messages

Promotional messages contain text, image and call to action buttons.

Transactional messages

Transactional messages are text only messages with a maximum of 1,000 characters.

Chat sessions

User initiated chat sessions are when the patient messages Bot MD first. A chat session includes 60 outbound messages, unlimited inbound messages over a 12 hour period.

Facebook Messenger

Meta does not charge messaging fees for Facebook Messenger.

However, unlike WhatsApp, to send messages to a patient on Messenger, the conversation must be initiated by the patient first.

When a patient sends you a message, you have up to 24 hours to respond. Messages can be sent outside the 24-hour window for specific use cases.


Telegram does not charge messaging fees for sending messages on Telegram.

However, unlike WhatsApp, to send messages to a patient on Telegram, the patient must first add the Telegram Bot.

Line Official Account

Line Official accounts are free to create. However, the free plan has a messaging limit depending on the location of your country.

There are two additional paid plans, Light and Standard which have a specific number of included messages and a rate for additional messages.

Only available in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia.


Fast, reliable message delivery through our local partners. SMS fees are charged per message segment.

The character limit for a single SMS message is 160 characters. Longer messages (> 160 characters) are split into multiple message segments and charged per segment.
